Out of the blue, Woodbridge High School drops a shocking surprise. The long awaited cafeteria renovations have officially been completed, and lunch is ready to be served better than ever.
What’s new?
You’ll notice that the place looks completely new. “Grand Re-Opening,” are the bright red words on the sign that can be seen upon entering. Really giving the place a natural look. New tiles, flooring, and lots of stocked shelves take up the room. And the cooking and prepping area looks very good and efficient. You can tell the lunch crew will enjoy working in a bright new environment like this everyday.
What to expect after renovations?
With the renovations completed, students can expect lunch to go back to normal. Serving up the finger-licking lunches, shorter and organized lines with two separate doors separating the cold and hot lunches. Less overcrowding while getting lunch, and also shorter wait time. This way students won’t have to worry about not having enough time to eat their lunch anymore. They can expect nothing but the best from what WHS has to serve.
Student reaction & feedback
To close it off, we asked seniors David Morales and Leah Shaw again for their opinions on the matters to see what they had to say.
Leah started off with, “It’s easier to find the apples.”
She likes that it’s back to being smooth to getting lunch, without having to deal with so much overcrowding of the students. She also liked the seperate lines being shorter and the fact that it doesn’t take too long either. We also asked if she had any feedback to give, and she said,
“I think they should have two workers at the sandwich station, so the line goes quicker.”
With David’s interview, he had a lot to say.
When asked how he felt about the circumstances, he said, “It’s nice, I think the renovations helped a lot.”
David enjoys the fact that it’s less crowded at the lines, which he thinks is better for the students. He said that the overall inside of the kitchen looks nice too, with the new tiles and the bright big sign at the front of the room.
And when asked if it was worth the wait, he said, “Yeah I think so, but it still kind of shouldn’t have taken so long.”
Finally, David responded, “I like that the sandwich station is back,” when asked what he liked the most. Although he also agrees with Leah’s claim that there should be two workers at the sandwich station in order to make the line go by quicker because of its fame.
So overall, it might have taken a while, but the wait for the cafeteria renovations were definitely worth it. Students can go back to enjoying what WHS has to serve when being great everyday.
