New Year’s Eve is a holiday known for the aura it carries and how people act around the time it comes. People cut others out of their lives and think about what the past year has brought them. This doesn’t change when The Barron Perspective talked to students and staff at Woodbridge High School, who detailed their resolutions heading into the new year!
Students and staff at Woodbridge High School came into the new year very positive. With students stating they are happy it’s a new year. One student states…”It was a long year with many emotions. Though I am happy the year is over I am grateful for the experiences it gave me.” This feeling is very common among people around this time. People feel very uplifted. I even heard some students talking about wanting to start new positive habits like journaling.
Teachers also have some resolutions for the new year and for their students. English teacher Mr. Gregory states…”My New Year’s resolution is to try to go to the gym and eat healthier.” Resolutions like this are pretty common because it gives people a chance to start over and have more time to reach their goals.
New Year’s brings everyone together no matter the age or occupation. It is no different at Woodbridge High School. Happy New Year.
