After three short years of being Woodbridge High School’s principal, Mr. Lottmann will quit his job to work at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Mr. Lottmann, a long time Disney fan, is very excited to begin his new job immediately after the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2017.
“I planned on leaving earlier that day, but there were no available flights until later that evening,” Mr. Lottmann said. “Plus they couldn’t get anybody else to host the ceremony.”
Mr. Lottmann has been flying to Orlando almost every weekend to maintain his current status as principal while also training for his upcoming dream job with the Walt Disney World company.
Although he is only starting out as a character performer, he hopes to eventually work his way up the ladder to become “someone in guest services, or maybe even a vacation planner. As long as it’s within the company,” Mr. Lottmann said.
“Deciding to leave Woodbridge High School and my position as principal was tough, but it’s definitely for the best. Besides, I am very pleased to say that I will be leaving Mr. Switek to take over my job.”
“Mr. Switek and I go way back. We were even camp counselors together. Obviously, there is nothing biased about my decision to make him the new principal,” Mr. Lottmann said.
