Mr. Jago wears the “mommy’s little man” shirt to work. Last week when he won the shirt in tug of war it was one of his proudest moments.

A big end of season sale at The Children’s Place has brought Mr. Jago in to spend big bucks this weekend, completely clearing out all the big boy sizes on the sales rack.

Mr. Jago was initially drawn into the store hoping to find a button up to complete his Sunday brunch outfit and instead came out with a whole new wardrobe for the season.

The store offered a wide variety of colors, styles, and fits to choose from. Mr. Jago said, “How could I have said no to so many fashionable and marked down pieces? Exactly my point: I couldn’t.”

The store had light colors, dark colors, stripes, plaids and more to choose from. Even a different color blazer to go with each button up and elastic waisted pleated pants.

Mr. Jago fought through angry mothers-to-be, as well as crazy aunts and overeager grandmothers to get through the racks of clothes to find his sizes and great deals. Frustration came about when a mother played tug-a-war with Mr. Jago over a shirt that read “Mommy’s Little Man.” Mr. Jago, of course, won that battle.

After getting rung up at the counter, Mr. Jago couldn’t resist signing up for future discounts and deals. When signing up for the deals the lady at the front desk told Mr. Jago after looking at his features that he would be the perfect candidate to enter in the contest to be on the cover of the new catalog.

On Monday Mr. Jago came into school and was receiving compliments on his new look from faculty and students left and right. Ms. Applebottom loved his new outfit complimenting him on the color coordination, Ms.Applebottom said to Mr. Jago “you look just as cute as my grandson all dressed up in your new outfit.”

Mr. Jago had a whole new confidence about him walking through the halls standing tall in his newly purchased attire. The principal Mr. Lottmann was shocked with the way Mr. Jago pulled off the outfit and he said “Mr. Jago has a great sense of fashion and the rest of the male faculty is dying to know where he bought all his snazzy clothes.”

The next week, Mr. Jago noticed other male teachers wearing the same clothes he had just bought himself and decided he was now too grown for The Children’s Place and will now be taking his shopping trips at Crazy8.
