Woodbridge High School Aims for Normal Prom
November 15, 2021
Woodbridge High School students transitioned to in-person learning this year and hopefully juniors and seniors will have a normal Prom and Cotillion.
Ms. Hain and Mr. Switek are the prom advisors for this year and it is also Mr. Switeks first year as a prom advisor.
This year’s Prom Committee is thinking about giving prom a certain theme this year, however it is not yet decided what the theme should be or if there will even be a theme. Students must be in school until they are dismissed and they cannot be suspended on the day of prom.
If any senior wants to help for inspiration they will need to join the prom committee to help with this years prom.
Woodbridge High School senior Janese Lewis speculates, “There will most likely be banquet food and maybe options for vegans.”
Prom will be held at the Grand Marquis in Old Bridge, New Jersey from 6:00 to 11:00 pm.For more information be sure to follow @barrons2022 on Twitter and @whsseniorclass_ on Instagram.
Cotillion is something that all juniors should anticipate this year. It’s a good way to wrap the year for the juniors at Woodbridge High School after finally completing their first full school year at the school.
Cotillion will take place on Thursday May 19, 2022 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. This dance usually has a theme that is decided by the Junior Cotillion Committee.
The classroom is managed by Ms. Pannullo and she will notify the stream for any important events. So far there is a fundraiser right now as of October 26, 2021 all the way up to November 11th, 2021 and for more information, always email Ms. Pannullo.
Woodbridge High School teacher Ms. Pannullo says, “The Cotillion is hosted at the Delta Hotel which is a beautiful venue.” There will serve a buffet dinner and there will also be lots of entertainment like a photo booth and a DJ.
Students have to attend school the day of Cotillion and they cannot be suspended or else they cannot attend. While at the dance, students must keep their face masks on unless they are eating.
If any juniors are interested in being a part of the committee, go to Google Classroom and type in code: mv7nsly.
