Woodbridge High School has welcomed a new face to its teaching staff this year with Ms. Caggiano, who joins the team with enthusiasm and dedication to helping students learn and grow. As part of the 2025-2026 school year, Ms. Caggiano hopes to inspire her students through engaging lessons and a positive classroom environment.
Bringing her teaching experience and calm, professional approach, Ms. Caggiano aims to make a difference at WHS by building strong relationships both academically and personally.
Ms. Caggiano joined Woodbridge High to pursue her long time goal of becoming a high school physical education teacher and coach.
“I’ve always wanted to be a high school physical education teacher and become a coach as well,” she said. “I taught at my old school for seven years, and when I heard there would be an opening at Woodbridge High School, I thought it was the perfect time to transition to high school.”
Her teaching philosophy focuses on flexibility and connection.
“All students learn differently, so sometimes I have to adapt and change my lessons to ensure every student understands,” Ms. Caggiano explained. “With physical education, there are a lot of demonstrations of how to play sports, so everyone understands and plays safely.”
Students say her classroom feels relaxed and open.
“Her class feels relaxing and free,” said WHS student Zachary. “I was pretty scared at first. I thought she was going to be the strictest teacher but she’s actually really kind.”
Zachary said Ms. Caggiano teaching style stands out for being calm and professional.
“She teaches like any other teacher, but she does it professionally and calmly, and that definitely sticks out from any other teacher,” he added.
Ms. Caggiano said she’s been impressed by the welcoming atmosphere at WHS.
“My first impression of Woodbridge High School is that everyone is very friendly and welcoming,” she said. “I hope to build positive relationships with my students by creating a comfortable environment where they have fun while learning.”
She hopes her students walk away from her class understanding the importance of lifelong health.
“I want my students to gain knowledge of how important their health is and how to stay physically active throughout their lives,” she said.
With nearly eight and a half years of teaching experience, Ms. Caggiano is excited to bring her energy to WHS.
“I’m most excited about making a difference in young students’ lives,” she said. “I look forward to shaping young minds and helping set them up for a positive life ahead.”
Ms. Caggiano is off to a strong start at Woodbridge High, and both students and staff look forward to the positive impact she will have this school year and beyond.
