Ms. Wanjau’s Garlic Cheese Bread

Taylor Barto, Reporter

“Cooking is fun, but baking is even more fun.” With that mantra, Ms. Wanjau, a Diet and Nutrition teacher at Woodbridge High School, shared her Garlic Cheese Bread recipe with The Barron Perspective.

The recipe, according to Ms. Wanjau, almost tastes the same as the biscuits offered at Red Lobster. She received the recipe from a cooking teacher who retired twelve years ago.

Garlic Cheese Bread is now a staple in her Basic Foods curriculum because students enjoy the finished product. Ms. Wanjau said that almost anyone, no matter their cooking skill level, should be able to cook this recipe.
