The start of every new school year always brings a number of good and bad things with it. Good, getting to learn new things and expand one’s knowledge. Bad, having to say goodbye to summer vacation. Good, getting to know new teachers and staff members at the Woodbridge High School.

This school year, one new face you will be seeing around WHS is the one of Ms. Galvach, a new secretary of the Main Office. To get insights on her feelings of WHS and her past experiences within it, the Barron Perspective has listed an exclusive interview with her below.

Barron Perspective: Where are you from?
Ms. Galvach: I am from Port Reading, New Jersey.

BP: Where did you go to school?
MG: I attended all Woodbridge Township Schools and graduated from Middlesex College.

BP: What is your official job title and what are your responsibilities in that role?
MG: I work in the main office at Woodbridge High School as a Secretary. Some responsibilities are sending various emails, mailing documents, creating spreadsheets and attending to the various needs of the students and staff throughout the day.

BP: How were your first few days of the school year at Woodbridge High School? What do you like about WHS?
MG: My first few days at WHS were super busy. However, I definitely had a great first week! I attended Woodbridge High School and graduated in 2016. I am now working as a Secretary which I absolutely love! I guess as the saying goes “Once a Barron, always a Barron!”

BP: How do you plan on making this a good school year?
MG: I plan on learning new things that come my way each and every day and continue to grow as an individual.

BP: What are you looking forward to this school year?
MG: I am hoping to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all of us during this ongoing pandemic.

BP: What hobbies do you enjoy outside of school?
MG: I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Visiting new places when I can. I also love spending time with my Uncle’s dog.

BP: Is there anything else you’d like to add?
MG: One more thing that I would like to add is that I am a huge Cleveland Browns football fan and St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan!
