“I’ve been playing soccer for as long as I can remember,” said Victor.
He feels his best game as a player was his most recent game against Edison after coming back from a head injury he put in the work and scored a goal. His most memorable goal was his first Varsity goal against Edison last year. Victor plans on continuing his soccer career when he gets out of high school. The most influential person in Victor’s soccer career is his dad because he always tells him how it is, that he should play the way he wants to play, and all around just motivates him. Some advice he would give to his underclassmen playing soccer is to stay confident in yourself, stay confident in your teammates, and believe in yourself as well as your abilities.
This is senior Javin Negron, his jersey number is 13 on the Varsity Boys Soccer team. His favorite playing style is a defensive one. Javin started playing at 4 years old. His best performance in a game was last year against Scotch Plains. His most memorable goal was against Colonia because it was against our rival school. He hasn’t decided if he’s continuing his soccer career when he gets out of high school. The most influential person in Javin’s soccer career is Ronaldo because he’s the best player of all time. Some advice he would give to his underclassmen playing soccer is to always go for that starting spot and you’ll eventually get it.
This is senior Braiden Kist, his number is 38 on the Varsity Boy’s Soccer team. Braiden’s ideal position is center midfield. He started playing at 5 years old. Braiden’s best game was a scrimmage against South River in his freshman year. His most memorable goal was also against South River because his brother was playing with him at the time. He does plan on continuing to play soccer when he gets out of high school. The most influential person in Braiden’s soccer career is his dad because his dad was always his coach and is the reason why he’s playing. Advice he would give to his underclassmen playing soccer is to never give up and to keep doing what you’re doing.

Advice he would give to his underclassmen playing soccer is when you’re not in the right mindset, take yourself out of the game, collect yourself, and go back in.

Bikram’s best game as a player was his second time going against Colonia this season. His most memorable goal was last year at the start of the season, it was a banger from thirty yards out. He plans on switching to running track when he gets to college. The most influential people in Bikram’s soccer career were all of his coaches because they helped shape the player he is today. Advice he would give to his underclassmen playing soccer is to stay consistent, keep training, and you’ll get there.

The most influential person in his soccer career was his coach, Mike, who was the first coach who recruited him to play soccer competitively. Some advice he would give to his underclassmen playing soccer is to go for any position, even if you’re uncomfortable in it, you never know if you might like it.
