The Woodbridge Barrons cheer team has had a great season with tons of special moments. They look to finish the season strong

Coach Victoria DePinto, in her third year as coach of the cheer team, had high hopes for her team. DePinto said, “Going into the season my expectations were for the team to have a good bond and enjoy the experience of being a WHS Varsity cheerleader.”

Coach DePinto says the season“is going good,” adding, “since the girls were so dedicated over the summer to the mandatory practices, we were able to get all of our routines done quickly.” On the season, Varsity cheerer Lia Trenary says it, “has been the best that it could have been we all worked together as a team to create a amazing halftime routine.”

Trenary’s favorite moment of the season was the whiteout game. She is happy with this season and is ready to build for next year. “I am looking forward to new teammates that we will have next season and cheering under the friday night lights.”

Coach DePinto preaches to her team that “whenever they wear their uniforms or any cheer apparel they are representing Woodbridge High School.” She adds that “they should always be acting like leaders in the cheer world and in the real world. I hold them to very high standard.”

Coach DePinto hopes that her team can finish the season strong and on a high note, and continue the success they have had.
