Mr. Forbes, who has taught at Woodbridge High School for 17 years, is retiring at the conclusion of this semester. Mr. Forbes is an English teacher at our school, but is most known for being the voice behind our morning announcements each morning.

He spoke on why he chose to retire at this time saying, “I felt it was time, I’m at an age where people retire and I have a few things I would like to try differently, I want to pursue other interests and stuff.”

When asked about his favorite memory Mr. Forbes said, “I have a million, I can’t think of one, I have dozens and dozens of memories over the years.”

Lastly, when asked about what he will miss most about WHS he said, “People. My friends. Coming into the building, I’ll miss. I have a lot of cherished friends here, colleagues I’ve known for years, so that’s going to be tough to leave.”

Mr. Forbes will be dearly missed by all of the students, faculty, and staff he impacted during his 17 years at our school.
