This dance was different from the big, themed events with fancy dresses and limos. It was smaller, so guests could relax and have fun without feeling stressed. Many people liked that it was affordable, with tickets costing only five dollars for three hours of fun.

While smaller, it was still a success, and the people attending had a good time.

Many interviewees said this was one of their best nights in months, especially since some had not attended other dances. They were excited to experience the joy of being with friends and expressing themselves freely. They could wear a simple spring dress and enjoy being out in public with genuine smiles. While many usually spend their evenings at home with a TV or phone, the chance to go out with friends to take pictures, sing, and dance until exhaustion was an amazing and uplifting experience.

Ms. Moldenhauer notes that with more planning, they can make it better for next year.

Although the dance was such a success the teachers in charge did say that the dance was beautiful even though it could have been better with some more time, due to having a college fair and a game that night, the dance did still get almost 50 people and they said it was almost as fun as the homecoming and that this dance should be something they should do every year making it slightly better each year. Maybe even more DJs and maybe some more decorations, thought we had Ms. Moldenhauer did say that she was very happy with the homecoming dance and that the Spring Fling would also be as much fun, especially since all the grades can enter both dances.

The hope is to grow the dance each year.

Many underclassmen were happy with the fact that they made a dance for each grade and not just for the upperclassmen, especially since Prom and Cotillion are for the class that are graduating and moving up a grade to graduate, and knowing that they also can join the fun without having to wait the three to four years is something that made them feel really appreciated. With more people coming, we also have the hope that more dances over the years with excitement and hopefully become a tradition for all grades to look forward to, and even make more people want to come to this school for the hope of being included in fun, massive events like the Spring Fling and the homecoming, and hopefully more dances such as those.
