In November 2014 Paterson, New Jersey Rapper “Fetty Wap” got signed to 300 Entertainment. In 2015 he had a breakout with hits like “Trap Queen”, which went to number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and was on the charts for a whole year; “679” which peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 for 40 weeks “RGF Island” which peaked at number 57 on the Hot 100 and was on the charts for 14 weeks. “Again” which peaked at number 33 on the  Hot 100 and was on the charts for 26 weeks, “My Way” which peaked at number seven and was on the charts for 22 weeks, and “Jugg” which peaked at number 87 and was on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for 6 weeks.

Later on, on October 10th, 2015 he was featured on a song with upcoming rapper Lil Dicky called “$ave That Money” which peaked at number 71 and was on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for 19 weeks. In May 2016 he dropped a new song called “Wake Up” which went to number 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was on the charts for 13 weeks. In July 2016 he dropped “All In My Head” which went number 24 for 18 weeks. Lastly for now, in 2022 he dropped a song called “Sweet Yamz” which went viral on TikTok

The New Album

On his new album “King Zoo”, he returned his 2015-2016 style which made him blow up. On his album “King Zoo” he has hits like “Superhuman”, “Northern Lights”, “Thinkin’ Bout You”, “Undeniable”, “Spin The Block”, “Slide”, “Jet Li”, “Outside”, which blew up on TikTok and “1738”, which also blew up on TikTok which features New Jersey rapper Coi Leray who blew up from her 2021 hit “No More Parties”. My favorite song on the album has to be “Outside” because he is so chill on this song. Fetty was always known for his melodies and vocals so on the song “Superhuman” he brought that style back. I think Fetty did an amazing job on this album and I feel like this album is underrated.
