On October 30, Woodbridge High School will be hosting its annual Trunk or Treat. The Trunk or Treat is an annual event at Woodbridge High School. The event will be advised by Mrs. Dercole. Students and family will attend the event after school on the night before Halloween, Monday, October 30.

Multiple different clubs and organizations from Woodbridge High School will be in attendance. Students and families can expect to see a plethora of clubs such as the Art Club, the Track team, the Jrotc program, the Football team, and many other sports and clubs.

After talking to multiple Woodbridge high school students, it seems that the event is anticipating a big turnout, with students excited for the social event.

The Reception

I spoke with multiple freshmen, most of whom weren’t aware of the event. The Freshmen are looking forward to their first year attending as students. However, many students and staff wish the event was better advertised.

“I’m always excited for a trunk or treat!” said Riley Volpe, a cheerleader at Woodbridge High.

“It’s always so cute to see the little kids and their costumes with their little smiles on their faces. I think this year will be another great Trunk or Treat and I’m excited to see everyone there.” Volpe explained.

Students, teachers, and parents also have a set list of expectations for the event.

“I expect it to be an awesome event,” says teacher and parent Mr. Holman “Safety-wise, I believe that it will be a very safe event because I am a resident of Woodbridge Township and it is a very safe place to live and raise a family.“

This year, the trunk or treat is expected to be better than ever. Students and families are all welcome to come and participate in some trunk or treating! Woodbridge High School hopes to see you there!
